Alex Ovechkin has 14 hat tricks. 

He is now #2 all time for the Capitals, surpassing Mike Gartner (13) and closing in on Peter Bondra (19).

And the Weagles keep adding up. I don't ever expect Ovi to hit the hat trick record - Gretzky had 50 in his career - but I certainly see him besting Bonzai some day down the road... especially if Coach Trotz keeps him scoring from all over the ice like he did last night.
